  • 6PM Friday evening, we were probably close to being the last group seated without a wait. The 5 starving souls in our group ordered: 2 Shrooms burgers; 2 thumbs up 1 Oy Vey (burger + pastrami + swiss + fried egg+ 1000 Island); ecstatic birthday girl 1 Custom mix of the Oy Vey & Button Buster. Basically Button Buster substituting pastrami for the Braised Short ribs (which I thought was nuts). Even though it is clearly stated on the menu--no substitutions--they were kind enough to accommodate an eyelash-batting 17 year old girl. Interestingly enough, most of this burger went home in a take out box. 1 lamb burger (cooked medium--was my mistake. The burger was cold. I mean COLD) Loved the interesting curry and bits of feta, but was totally jealous of the steam coming off the others' burgers even on their last bites. I probably would not order this one again. Also tried their fries with the truffle oiled cheeze whiz. Loved the fries, cheeze was ok. Also 2 orders of fried pickles. They are not spears or slices, but biggish whole pickles. Pickle-to-breading ratio a bit disappointing because they are whole, but nice crunch and flavors. The girls (3) got shakes as dessert to go. I mooched a few slugs. WOW!
