| - Could this be one of the easiest 5 star reviews I've ever had to write? Hands down, YES!! I came here for happy hour and my friend and I tried about everything on the list.
While everything we tried was fantastic, my overall favorites were the Cajun Albacore Sashimi, Tadas with Yellowtail, and the Shrimp-Avacado roll.
The tadas were the most "fusion" like thing we tried. A mixture of "ceviche like" spice accompanied with tostadas and touch of lime, I ordered two plates to myself!
The cajun albacore sashimi....can I drool any longer? I loved the light cajun seasoning idea. This dish, along the with others at Soho, doesn't take away from the idea that I'm eating sashimi. Some places fuse dishes together to make something completely new altogether, which usually turns into a sad "miss" from me.
We received a recommendation from our server Boris to try the Yellowtail Yuzu Soy off the regular menu. Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! I've gravitated toward yellowtail and albacore of late, and this recommendation was right on the money. Our servers, Boris and Candice, were extremely attentive and spot on on their recommendations based on questions of what our palettes gravitated to.
I'm very happy to have found this gem. When I come back in town in a few weeks with friends, I know exactly where I'm taking them to.
