  • I have to put a bit of a disclaimer on my 5 star review, as it ONLY applies to the patio. I actually would give the inside bar only a 3 star as I find it too dark and dingy for my taste, but "The Ship" definitely has the best patio in the city on a summers day. I guarantee you this patio fills up before any other patio in the city. Something about the vibe of being crammed in with a bunch of very eclectic strangers this makes going to the ship an adventure. Their food menu is just your average pub menu. Pretty reliable with some solid appys and burgers! You can't go wrong if your expectations are that you are going to "The Ship". The term should be branded! You can wear whatever you want because the clientele are literally from all walks of life.... It's a mishmash of professionals from downtown, biker guys/gals, gays, straights, hipsters, students, and of course the lovely hippies! I love this place!
