On 5/24/15 I purchased a living room set. Paid cash. I was told that it would be ready for pick up from their warehouse on 6/15/15. I called the day before to make sure it was there before I gave my old set away and was told it "should" be there. When I arrived at the warehouse I was told I could pick up just the love seat the sofa would not arrive till August 30!! NO ONE called me to tell me about this little issue with my order! I asked for my money back, they filled the paperwork and said it would take 7-14 days for my refund check to arrive.
I was upset but waited patiently and when I didn't receive a check after 4 weeks..Yes 4 weeks I called customer service. I was told that it takes longer when its cash! Really?? I called their offices in Wisconsin and was given the run around there as well as to who was responsible to cut the check. I was told on 7/21/15 that they would look into it and call me back..they never did...I called today 7/23 and they said the same. I tried on their website to contact them and was told that my email address was not valid.. Really?? I have never dealt with such Idiots in my life! Customer service you say?? It's Non existent at Ashley Furniture. They will hear from my lawyer.
By the way..after I left the Ashley warehouse without furniture I went to Walker Furniture found a set and it was delivered the next morning before I went to work! THAT is Customer Service.
