  • If I had read the other reviews before I went in, I'm not sure if I would have bothered. I did go in expecting to be disappointed. First, after talking to the staff, and seeing how they operate, I would never go in except on a Friday when they have the best selection. Secondly, I advise you carry around a squirt bottle or something to help fend off the VERY zealous sales people. However, if you know what you are looking for, and have compared prices elsewhere, it is possible to find a deal. I'm personally looking for some club style chairs for my living room, and The Dump's focus is more on sets. So I didn't buy anything, and there was nothing I couldn't live without. My friend Steven L. did find a great deal on an Asian style rug. $288 for an 11"x8" rug that fit perfectly in his living room. They had a huge selection of rugs, with a wide variety of colors, patterns and styles. Over all, I would not make this my one and only, but it's worth a look see if you know what you want and what prices you would pay elsewhere.
