  • My home away from home is the Hampton Inn North Summerlin. I've been staying there almost once every two weeks for the last 4 years. Those are my people. For the first time ever, my other home was completely booked. What the hell am I supposed to do now?! Enter, this Hampton Inn. Of course I immediately start comparing it to MY Hampton Inn, which is more dated and some would say "less nice". This hotel is a little annoying to get to from the highway. It's like, you can see it but you have to map it just to figure out which turns to take. Ah, Vegas. I don't ask for much, coming here for work. I want 1) a workout room that WORKS. 2) a decent room with a fridge for my meal prep delivery. This Hampton has no fridge (my other Hampton does) and the elliptical machine vibrated so badly that my phone could not even sit on the holder. Nor could the water bottle. The whole thing made me madly dizzy and I had to bail. The TVs in the workout room also didn't work. CAN ANY OF THESE HOTELS' TV'S ON THE WORKOUT EQUIPMENT EVER WORK???! The fitness room also had room for one person, or one half of a person, to lay on the mat, use the bench or do anything with weights. So, I sat and waited on the shaking elliptical for the moaning dude to finish. The rooms are alright (aside from no fridge) although there was some hair on my bathroom floor. Not for me. I won't be staying here again. The pro is that there are healthy restaurants nearby (proteins and xyz, etc) and a Starbucks, but it's not enough to warrant me picking it again.
