  • Yelp Challenge! Started 8/20/2011 (35 of 365). I have a lot of catching up to do! This organization is a great one to volunteer with. I am part of the Disaster Action Team as a memeber and am on call twice a month to help serve people who have been displaced by a home fire, or other causes. There are monthly meetings to review logistics, meet other volunteers, and on going training as well. Other than the Disaster Action team, there are many other opportunities to volunteer including the Veteran's hospitals all around Las Vegas. If you're looking to volunteer your time to an organization that really makes an impact all over the world, go to the American Red Cross.
