  • So when my friend Stephanie told me to use Storage West when I needed a storage unit, because it was "the single most amazing customer service experience of my life", I didn't know what to think. Maybe she had just had crappy customer service everywhere she ever went. Maybe every waitress who ever served her spit in her food, or maybe when she went shopping employees just wildly shouted curse words at her. Because there was no other explanation for why someone would say that about a storage place. It's a storage place. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. Sooo wrong. Basically every business I have ever visited could come and take notes from Mike and his lovely wife Gwen. These two people are not just employees. They are family. They immediately welcome you, listen, and provide an absolutely amazing experience. They know their business, they know storage, they know moving, and they know people. The storage spaces are awesome, safe, clean, and extremely well kept. But these two people are what makes this place. Moving into a storage unit really isn't usually a sign of anything good, even if it's temporary. In my case my new place fell through at the last minute and I needed somewhere to put my stuff. I'd never had my belongings in storage before. It's overwhelming. I got nothing but top notch customer service at Storage West and I am so happy that my friend recommended them! The advice, pointers, assistance and, of course, storage that Mike and Gwen provided is priceless. And, while there, I encountered several other customers all with smiles on their faces and a clear relationship with Mike and Gwen. They are the absolute best. So if you're looking for a safe, clean, storage place where you don't have to worry about your belongings, and you too want to experience the best customer service you're probably ever going to receive - go see Mike and Gwen. They will take care of you like family.
