| - To start off, I have "mermaid" hair. My hair from the top of my ear to end of the longest strand was 24". I bought a TeamBuy, which I was a little hesitant as there was very few reviews. I got an appointment quickly. The salon itself is very cute and modern, I was in a chair downstairs. Long story short, I asked for a trim, I said I'd like 1 inch cut off but I mean I'm okay with 2 so you have leeway from 1 to 2 inches but nothing more I'm still growing my hair. She asked me to show her what an inch was to me because a lot of people have different perceptions of measurement. I showed her literally an inch no more than 2.2-2.5cms. Why is my hair 6" shorter by the end of it. She asked me, "Doesn't your hair feel a lot healthier?", my reply was "It's very very short.". So take into account my hair is very long compared to the average person, but when I tell you to cut no more than 1 - 2 inches, why do you cut 6? I hate scissor happy hairstylists. On top of that my hair was not even symmetrical. Some parts of the right side of my hair were longer than the left. I had to keep instructing her it was not the same. Absolutely unreal. I will never go back for a hair cut. The colour was good, but I like to get everything done at the same time and I was extremely pissed off with my hair cut. The colour was pretty good, the only thing giving this salon 2 stars instead of 1.
