This place is a cute neighbourhood spot with a large patio (too bad it was cold and rainy the day I went). I found it a bit odd that their sale sign and coffee beans blocks their view from customers coming into the cafe - you have to walk past it to see the barista and menu.
They offer a number of breakfast & lunch items, which unfortunately I didn't try since I was heading to dinner afterwards. I had their latte which was ok. I have to admit that I'm used to microfoam so I was disappointed when I had a large layer of airy bubbles on top of my latte. I also found the espresso wasn't very strong. They also offer Numi and yerba mate teas.
There's artwork on the wall for sale as well as mugs, jewellery (kinda random...), coffee beans, etc. They have a number of community event postings all over the cafe and the washroom. So if you're in the washroom and would like to read something (just sayin') you can read up on them or the benefits of yerba mate tea (they have a framed list in the washroom....).
