  • I recently moved to Madison from downtown Chicago. Searching for a great dry cleaners, I went with "Voted Madison's Best" Klinke Cleaners on University. They were a terrible disappointment. I wish I had read some of these reviews. Not only were the sheets not cleaned properly, the night staff ("we don't know anything about the service, we're just the night staff, you'll have to call the cleaners in the morning") handed them to me thrown helter skelter over a hanger. The charge for laundering 2 Queen sheets and 2 pillow cases :$ 75.94! That is almost 3 times the cost that I pay in the Gold Coast and those are laundered, press with light starch and folded for less than $30 dollars. The sweaters were $10 a piece! I don't get it. The staff is rude, the quality of work is poor and the prices off the charts. I hope this does not represent the best of Madison! WILL NEVER GO BACK.
