| - Um yea, me thinks not. I was feeling kind of down so I needed a little self pampering. Last week of school and FINALS on my back like a 300lb rhino. So I went across the street to TopNails to get a little spa therapy.
Sooo, I don't know if they are trying to conserve gel polish but if you offer it YOU better use it. Gel Pedi...$41 w/ my rebel discount and it was not worth no damn $41, more like $10. How much is the Sally Hansen's gel polish? Like $7 at wal-mart.
The color I choose was the Tiffany Teal, I loved that color and I've had that color before. The nail tech maybe layered 3 coats, wait, what? Excuse me sir, why is it that I can still see the bed of my nail under these light-ass layers of polish that you just painted on my toes? He would dip the brush and then wipe the excess across the base of the bottle, understandable. But when you wipe the brush DRY and it looks like I'm getting a FLESH color then "Houston, we have a problem" A problem indeed.
I paid and didn't complain, because he performed a service. I was not happy with the outcome, and I'm sorry, I don't think I'll be back. Not even w/ the skimpy UNLV discount that we get. The nail competition is REAL around the University area, that's what I get...I should've just went to my regular AND it would have cost $4 less too
But this is just my personal experience with TopNails, your experience may be different.
