  • I am speechless.......almost, until I wrote this review. We arrived back in Toronto yesterday afternoon from the U.K. into absolute chaos in terminal 3, an amateur time three ringed circus. It took us over two and a half hours from landing on an Airtransat flight, TS505, which was already delayed by a couple of hours, to getting home, just a couple of miles away. We were initially transported by bus to the main terminal after landing at the far back of the Airport. This was followed by enduring a ridiculous queue to experience what only could be described as a bizarre computerized border control system (a new concept, which didn't work and did nothing but confuse all the passengers). Continuing on from there, we waited for over an hour for our baggage on the carousel. What the hell were Pearson playing at, I can't even begin to imagine? To be honest, even London Gatwick staff were talking about problems Toronto Pearson were experiencing before we took off on our flight, so we wondered what senario we would be arriving into. Once we landed, we soon realized we were walking into the seventh depth of hell. Two weeks prior to this, one of our bags was mislaid when we landed in London, it had not been put on our flight, although it was clearly labelled as a priority bag, which we had paid extra for and was processed with our other suitcase. This was two days before my daughters' wedding and all of our wedding attire and requirements for the day were in that bag. Luckily for us, the bag was delivered to our hotel the following day, although it was late in the evening, so it caused a lot of worry for us and deliberation whether some late night emergency shopping to buy mens suits, make up and accessories were needed. To be quite honest, this so called international Airport and the way customers are treated like cattle is an embarrassment to the aviation world and I would be ashamed if I worked at that Airport as a member of staff, it's a laughing stock. To add insult to injury, there appears to be no complaints procedure other than noise complaints or phoning them directly, therefore nothing would be in writing and of course difficult to monitor and keep track of......yeah, how convenient. So that's fine, I'll just blast them with this bad review all over the internet and let people know exactly how dreadful this freak show at Pearson Airport really is.
