  • I take the AMT train daily to get to work and back. I go from the Montreal West train station to the Lucien-L'Allier station. The train is air conditioned so that's a nice bonus compared to the STM buses which are not. I have one (ok, maybe two) BIG problems with the AMT. My husband also agrees. 1) Once arrived at the terminus Lucien L'Allier I like to stay on for maybe 5 minutes to finish reading the paper. Some trainmen (depends on who) do a sweep of the train from back to front MAKING people get off. I had a small altercation with the one this morning. It's almost as though they WANT to make trouble with patrons. 2) The "AMT Po-lice" --- Ok, are these guys SERIOUS? They are such wannabe pr!cks. That's all I will say.
