Delectable, authentic Japanese curry served in a lively and clean atmosphere. We had the chicken katsu curry, the chicken was expertly prepared. Light, crispy, with juicy chicken. The curry can be ordered from zero to 10 in spiciness. My other half had #4 and said it left a pleasant pulse on the lips and cleared the sinuses out just fine :) On the tables you will find fukujinzuke (red pickled daikon radish blend) and rakkyo (pickled Chinese onion) thoughtfully provided as relishes for your meal.
The service is so friendly and efficient. Yes, the restaurant has express in its name, but be patient as everything is made strictly to order. The only error on our plates were the fried eggs we ordered as a topping had rock hard yolks, not the runny goodness you want.
Finally, what is bizarre about this place is the music they play, which just doesn't fit the experience... All Reggae.... Honto ni? How about some J-pop!
