I stopped here for a decaf soy latte after yoga class on my way to work. I stayed for lunch.
You feel welcome and comfortable when you walk in the door. There is personal enthusiastic service if there are a line to the door or you are the only one at the counter.
The Rocky Romaine salad was bright, sweet and crunchy with romaine, apples, carrots, walnuts, bleu cheese and raisins. I almost didn't need dressing. There is a good balance of veggie and meat. The customer next to me ordered the Veggie Crush, a thinned out veg panini. I'm definitely getting that next time. It's refreshing to have real food options like soup, salads, fruit, and sandwiches outside of the usual coffee shop offerings of oversized muffins and cookies.
They offer a nice large counter to sit at and read the Plain Dealer or look out the window, as well as comfortable tables and chairs to open up your laptop or sit down with friends. The place is both cozy and open. I didn't feel too crowded and the place was well populated for a Wednesday at noon. There is a fireplace in the middle of the seating area. Nice.
Prices are about the same you can find at most coffee places. My salad was $6 and worth it for it's freshness.
