Was there on Saturday night 5/28. We went to the Mandalay Bay to buy tickets to Michael Jackson ONE when we walked by Light and were approached by Eneleko. He said that ladies would be free (two free drinks each) and guys would be $40. He sent us a confirmation text in which he states that we should be there before 12:30 and confirmed what he promised and said in bold letter SKIP THE LINE find the guest list girl and say his name.
After the show we went straight over there. Showed up about 11pm. As instructed we walked up to the lady with the clipboard and a very snobby guy looked me up and down and said "Can I help you" told him about Enelekos text and he said "You have to wait in line thanks" So we went towards the guest list line. After about 30 mins waiting I asked my husband to MAKE sure we were really on the damn list. He spotted the clipboard woman and guess what... Eneleko never submitted his list. The lady was nice enough to give my friend and I our ticket and my husband and my friends husband their "VIP reduced admission" ticket. My husband asked how much was it and she stated that it would be $70 per guy. When my husband told her that the promotor had said $40 per guy she said "Oh you should be fine then" we waited another 30 minutes and we finally got to the front. My friend and I got in and they wanted to charge the men $100 EACH. We left immediately after that. I have never seen so much BS in my life. This whole time too they were turning down guys wearing t-shirts and non-dress shoes but off to the side they were letting in guys with t-shirts and non-dress shoes. I hate being lied to. It was so humiliating. I realize that I'm not beauty pageant material and I get that the beautiful girls get wrangled in first but shit. I had money to spend and have a good time. I've been to Vegas on multiple occasions and have never been treated this way. We ended up somewhere else and had an amazing night. I have stayed at the Mandalay Bay multiple times but I can honestly say I would never step foot in there anymore.
