We did Nobou at Teeter House last night for Restaurant Week and the food itself was overall incredible; however after it was all said and done, the bill was $150 for 2 of us...which started at the $44/person and we did not drink alcohol...we added a small amuse bouche and two ice teas. So, for the price....I'm not sure. The service left much to be desired considering it's a "fine dining" restaurant with a James Beard chef. Waitresses were in casual attire... like sneakers. Our waitress walked up to the table and basically was like "here's the menu, do you want seafood or meat and what dessert do you want?"...well, I'd like an explanation of what I'm potentially ordering first of all. What is in the meat vs. seafood Bento box? What's your recommended dessert? Do you have any non alcoholic beverages?...when the food came, the explanation of what each part consisted of was pretty basic--not sure if she maybe just didn't know the menu well? The courses were also quite rushed...we were in and out in slightly over an hour for a three course menu...she was pushing us for sure. But overall, it was pretty delicious and unique. We'll come back for lunch perhaps.
