rev:text	Before I begin my rant, let me say the hardware, lighting, paint, and landscape departments were amazing; but the front end customer service is HORRID! So I bought 5 gallons of paint, painting supplies, and a watering timer. I went to the self-checkout and a woman scanned the items for me. As she was doing this, I realize another lady was watching her every move from the podium. When I was leaving, the alarm went off and the lady who was gawking immediately ran over, grabbed the bag to check the items I purchased against my receipt. First of all, if I were a shoplifter, I would NOT have allowed you to check my bag and second, if I were going to shoplift, why the heck would I PAY almost $200 for merchandise to STEAL a $20 watering gadget?!?! Third, being that I PAID and a runner, I could have easily outrun you. Next time, if you are going to chase someone down, make sure you have your running shoes on and up to the challenge :). After she goes through my bags, she realized everything I had was paid for and shoved the bag back at me. No apology, no nothing. As I read through the reviews, I realized this is something this Home Depot does on a regular basis and it needs to stop. I will never shop here again. Furthermore, this is a very dangerous practice for the customer service. Although I played along with the craziness, merchandise that does NOT belong to you is not worth it. At the end of the day, their goal should be to go home to their families, not do the work of Metro.
