  • Hubby and I decided to check this place out for our date night. Reservations are strongly suggested as they book up fast. Pretty neat experience. We booked online with no problems. You are asked to arrive 1 hour before your flight time to check-in. Fliers are placed into groups by flight time with an instructor, watch a short video, and go through a mini crash course of what to expect, hand signals, body position, and how to exit the tube. After the video your instructor suits you up. Our instructor was Mike and he was awesome. He answered questions and I felt he genuinely wanted us to feel at ease and safe with him in the tube. You enter the flight area as a whole group. I'm assuming because there is some type of air-lock or pressure balance they have to maintain inside the flight tube. (That part was not explained to us.) Your group sits on the bench and you wait your turn. Your experience includes two 1 minute turns in the tube. It may not seem like much, but as a first timer, I wouldn't want to be in there much longer. 1. It's loud. Even with ear plugs in, it was difficult to hear anything after we left the air tube. 2. So much air is blowing in your face, my nose was running after I got done. There was another gal in the group that had an excess of saliva blowing up her face from her mouth. I'm sure it happens more than not. 3. They do take pictures and videos of you while inside. One download video is complimentary with your experience. 4. They love to try and up-sell. For an extra $10 an instructor will take you up really high in the tube and spin you around. ***5. If you have had a previously dislocated shoulder, you are advised against participating in iFLY. I can completely understand why this is an issue. Your body is being blown and contorted upward, it is highly likely that it could pop out of place again. There was little to no information about how they simulate the air, electricity needed to run the machines, or anything about the air turbine thingies. Overall, we had a good experience. I would recommend and would go back.
