| - I've never stayed at this hotel, but whenever I watch movies, this is my place. I love it! The "vibe" is more to my liking. It's on the Strip, but not in the middle of the rat race. The colors in this hotel and casino are bright, the space is large and airy and, for the most part, I don't think I've ever had a bad time with anyone. However, I watch movies here early or at least by noon. I prefer to make it to the first showing because I'm guaranteed their delicious freshly popped popcorn and the theater is not crowded. I'm not a sociable and I like quietness around me.
The seats in the theaters have been remodeled. To be honest, I preferred the other type of seats (fabric). These are a little too plump and bouncy and not as comfortable for my lower back, but since they are made of fake leather, they will probably stay cleaner in the long run.
I just think that overall, the people who pass through this hotel and casino seem to be happy to be there. It's not a depressive atmosphere like you find in some of the older rundown casinos in other parts of town. You see families with children. Every now and then there is a rodeo and the casino is filled with cowboys in their boots and hats. It's kind of neat. When the cowboys are in town, the large attached parking garage is filled with all their huge, shiny trucks.
If I return to California, I will definitely miss this hotel and casino and theater. It's one of my favorite places since I moved here.
