  • My boyfriend and I saw the signage out front stating $25 full body massage for one-hour. Sounded like a pretty good deal! I regretfully say that it was not worth it. The interior was clean and very welcoming. I would say that the only drawback would be the in-your-face sign about tipping. It stated that the minimum tip was $10 - if it was a really bad massage and $20+ if it was a really great massage. I understand tipping culture, but it does not need to be blatantly in your face when making an appointment. We arrived for our appointment. We were handed paperwork to fill out. I selected the pressure and specifically listed that I did not want certain areas of my body touched. We handed in the paperwork, and they led us to the back area. The instructions stated to undress down to my underwear, face down, and cover myself with the cloth that they provided. The masseuse came in. He did not even greet me, just started to massage. The massage overall was a lot of firm rubbing and pressing. Then, he did hot stone massage, which actually felt really good. Then, he did my head, arms, and legs. I would say overall, the massage was not that bad, but it wasn't good either. I would rate it a 4 out of 10. However, this review gets a one-star for the following reasons: 1) It was a spontaneous thing that we had decided to get massages. So, I wasn't exactly in my most conservative underwear. The male masseuse tucked the towel into my underwear, and after he was done with the towel, he removed it. Then, proceeded to fix my underwear, so that it wasn't twisted. I have not done very many massages, so I don't know if that is typical. But, it sure was uncomfortable. I would have preferred if he would have at least asked first. 2) My masseuse kept coughing and clearing his throat the entire hour. It did not set the mood for a relaxing massage. Now, the next day, I am also sick. I did not come into contact with any one else yesterday, so I am pretty sure he got me sick. 3) The masseuse completely ignored the written statement regarding the certain areas of my body that I did not want touched. Like, entirely! He did not ask specifically where to avoid. I know he didn't read it at all. What is the point of a section in the paperwork, if it was totally ignored. 4) The sign stated a $25 full-body massage. When we got to the front, they charged us $30 plus tip. I guess, the $25 is only if you purchase a VIP package of ten total massages. Misleading advertising, for sure. Overall, I will definitely not be back here. I thoroughly regret it today.
