  • Exploration Park offers lush in the middle of the desert. You almost wonder why the grass is always green with so many traffic going from left to right. I had the pleasure to visit this park this weekend to go for a little hike, and it was worth every minute. Who can complain when you see dogs from all over the place and people actually spending quality time with one another. This park offers one of those greatest pleasures no one really has time for anymore. So apart from seeing people relaxing and having a good time, we went over there for one thing -- to hike. This park has a steep hill overlooking the entire city of Las Vegas, and it's one of those places that makes you ponder everything! Get a view night and day while you relax with a loved one. Seriously, this is one of the places you need to visit if you're a local. The images submitted here on Yelp doesn't justify it's beauty. Before starting the hike, bring plenty of water because for noobs, this can be a bit challenging. There's two stops to this place. One at bottom of the hill and one to the top. Both has really great views. But if you really want a 360 view of the city, you'll want to hike up! Don't let the slope intimidate you as it's fairly easy to hike especially when you're going slow and steady.
