If I could give it a 0 stars I would. Don't stay here, unless you like to be treated rudely because you make a complaint. My husband is a brittle diabetic and just got out of the hospital last month. He was in intensive care and hospitalized for 16 days. His doctor suggested that we take a mini stress free vacation after all he was through. My daughter and I decided it would be nice to stay here for a stress free vacation and celebrate her and my grandson's birthday. I was so excited to get my room for $43 a night and when we booked I spoke to a girl on the phone not from this resort but from diamond resorts int. She told me that this resorts takes pride in taking special care of their handicap customers. I always stay in rci resorts and thought this place is afilliated with RCI. The nightmare started when we came to check in and found out that they booked us in 2 different rooms. So I said since they had 2 rooms for us I would take the room in the same building my daughter was in so she can help me with my husband. First surprise early check-in turned out to be 4PM. They were aware of my husband's situation and it was so hot (107 degrees) they could care less made us wait till 4PM. Get in the room and my husband had to take a shower and his insulin late. The shower curtain was full of black mold. We had to wait for a new shower curtain, they could care less. Next day is my daughter's birthday and my son in law rented a cabana for my husband $100 a day. Never got to use it the grill fell on him. I had to take him to the ER, but that delayed by 2 1/2 hours because I was so shaken up my blood sugar dropped to 60. I reported and they could care less. Thank God my daughter is a nurse and took care of me to get it back up. 50 you can go into a diabetic comma. She saved my life. I had to leave my grandson to watch my husband and he has no idea how to take care of a diabetic. So I get my son in law to the ER and got back at 5:30pm. 2 of my 4 days shot. day 3 I was so sick I spent it laying down in the room. At night I took my grandson to roast marshmallows and the fire pit blew up 10 feet in the air after we lit it. My husband started to lean over when it blew up. Then I went to sit on the concrete bench and I almost fell because it isn't cemented down. Then I finally got to our room, which isn't a short walk, my key didn't work at 9:30pm. So I had to walk back to the office to get another key. The girl at the desk was rude and told me that I had a late check out, so she locked me out. I told her she was confused that my late check out is the next day at 1:30pm. She rudely told me she made a mistake and gave me a new key. then they told my son in law that they would comp me 2 additional nights, but they did't they charged my son in law $200. I tried to tell them it was a misstake and I was rudely told I was wrong,. I would never stay in this place for free again.
