  • After two years of being a cat owner, I decided that it was necessary for me to have a vet closer to home. I had been driving about an hour and a half to Polkton, NC to take my kitten in for vaccinations and check ups. It was not convenient. I searched online for an office close to me, read reviews for Lakecross Veterinary Hospital and decided that I would try them out. I know I will not regret that decision. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed is how clean it was. Given that there are animals in and out all day, the cleanliness of the lobby and the outside of the buildings was impressive. It is clear that the staff care about the presentation they put forth. Speaking of the staff, they were all very nice and efficient, as well as very helpful. They spoke to me in terms that were simple to understand. Our vet was polite, professional, and seemed to genuinely care about my cat's well being. Overall, it was a great experience and if you are looking for a quality vet, I do not think you will be disappointed in LakeCross Veterinary Hospital.
