I hadn't been in in quite a while, since their upgrade. The hippie vibe has been replaced with a more upscale look, and "suggested wine pairings" included on the menu under each entree. I like the cleaner feel of the place, and especially that all the tables and chairs are the same height.
The -1 star is because they changed their dipping sauce for the spring rolls. Apparently, it wasn't completely gluten-free before. Since their menu does contain several glutinous selections, it is not a completely gluten-free restaurant. So why couldn't they offer a choice of dipping sauces? I am gluten-sensitive but did not have a problem with the former sauce. I have a problem with the fact it is no longer offered. The new sauce is nothing special. Now the spring rolls are just...ordinary. They used to be magic.
It's hard to find grain-free delicacies that are low-carb, vegan and aren't salad. Grieving here.
