  • Like I've said before, I love home furnishing places. Sadly, when I think of shopping, Pier 1 isn't quite my top choice. I find this place to be a little more pretentious than other home stores, and the prices to be a little more extreme. I'll admit that they do have quite a lovely selection of products to make your house pretty, but it's usually too expensive for me... which is why I don't normally go in. I have purchased a few gifts from this place though. Since they have nicer, probably better quality stuff, some things make perfect gifts. and when people find out the gift is from Pier 1, they usually aren't disappointed. The only time I've left Pier 1 with more than a gift is when they're having a sale... and advertising it outside. They do have lots of nice things in there, they're just a bit pricey for my liking.
