| - Stayed here Sunday-Saturday with my husband during his work trip.
Previously, we'd found a great deal to stay at One King West, which is closer to everything, far nicer, has great views and amazing rooms. But that was too expensive for his per diem business travel this time.
Our room on the north side of the building overlooked a parking lot. Didn't have club-noise trouble that some other reviewers have mentioned, but we did manage to book the week that Peter Street happened to be under construction. The hotel of course has no control over public street works, even though the noise continued most of the night. The rooms aren't even sound-proofed from each other. Neighbor noise was so clear, I actually thought there were strangers inside our room. Between all that & the surprisingly loud thermostat that audibly CLICKs every time it turns on or off (every few minutes), I had to grab ear plugs from the Shoppers on the corner.
Breakfast was decent - cold foods & hot made-to-order items available 6:30a-10a, & only $10pp/day if you order it for your entire stay during check-in.
The beds are adjustable. Mini fridge, microwave safe, big flat-screen, & FREE WIFI in the room.
Can't quite explain this... The plumbing in our bathroom sink popped open overnight somehow, so we got splashy feet when we tried to brush our teeth.
