  • I was directed by the doctor herself to purchase medication from a pharmacy called Roadrunner pet pharmaceuticals (Roadrunner pharmacy). Contacted the pharmacy on a Monday, called them on a Thursday and was told the medication was just sent out and I probably would not receive it until the following Monday or Tuesday. All the while my poor parrot is suffering from labored breathing and is constantly moaning and coughing in agony. In this 7-day period that has transpired, I can see the poor bird's health deteriorating. The pharmacy was well aware of the dire need for the expeditious delivery of the medication from both my veterinarian and myself, yet they failed to deliver the medication in a timely manner. Roadrunner, more like the turtle pharmacy.
