  • I bought a Groupon and thought I'd try this place out. I was excited to treat myself to a scalp massage and I was hoping for something voluminous or wavy (a notch up from what I normally do at home). The staff was friendly and the salon was beautifully decorated. My biggest complaint was the scalp massage. My roots were being pushed and pulled to the point i felt pain. Every time I thought about saying something she'd soften up. In hindsight I should've just asked her to stop and move on to the blowout. I asked for wavy and not "boing" curls and I ended up leaving with "boing" curls. My scalp was tender for the rest of the day and the style was just meh.
