| - Hahahaha, I love reading the reviews that complain about the high humidity. I went in August, and yes, it was muggy and uncomfortable, but I still enjoyed the experience. I'm sure the butterflies would not appreciate having the A/C on...
The place is a bit pricey, but again, a very enjoyable experience for my kids, husband and I. My kids loved all of it, including the 3D movie. My husband and I loved the chrysalis exhibit, i had never seen anything like it, they look like jewels!
And the actual greenhouse is not that big, true. I expected a much, much larger place. But nobody is kicking you out...stay and enjoy the experience. Sit down, take pictures, ask the volunteers for information, or google it and tell your kids about it.
Reading other reviews for this place, I'd say I'm easily pleased. I've seen better, since I've been to Costa Rica and went to a huge butterfly place. Huge. So this one can't compare on size...but guess what? The Costa Rica place was hotter and muggier than this one :)
