This review is for the seasonal ice skating rink.
Ice skating in Phoenix, how could anybody complain? However the overall layout of the ice promotes bottlenecks. Additionally, the overall condition of the ice is quite poor. The ice was lumpy and poorly maintained. They have no Zamboni machine to keep it groomed. People were falling left and right some quite hard, not due to poor skating skills but due to the condition of the ice. There is no staff person on the ice to assist as in previous years. The skate rental staff was quite friendly. The prices for adults was $15, children were eight dollars each. The skates were OK for rentals, not the lace type, and had two straps.
The worst part is there are no public restrooms. Staff directed me to the local Starbucks.
