  • I'm usually not too picky when it comes to movie theaters, but Village Square 18 is my favorite theater in town. The joint simply never seems busy. I suppose it helps that it is tucked away in the corner of the Sahara shopping plaza and not located inside of a casino. Village Square doesn't always show the big name movies (i.e. The Force Awakens), however from time to time it does get some of the lesser known/indie movies that most theaters do not. Alternatively, to my knowledge VS does not have any screens with IMAX capabilities. On a positive note, Village Square boasts a close proximity to Rocket Fizz for candy smuggling purposes. VS is also very close to Chicago Brewing Company (which I highly recommend) and that Asian burger joint everyone seems to rave about that I have yet to try.
