I have been a repeat customer with Good Day Cleaners over the last couple of years. My uniform for work is what I need dry cleaned on a regular basis, and I always request for next day pick up. I dropped off a few items and a scarf. I was assured by the owner that everything will be ready the next day after 5pm. When I went to pick up, a lady told me that she did not have my scarf. She told me their driver already dropped off the cleaned clothes for the day and will be back in the morning. I let her know that the scarf is part of my uniform, and without it I'm unable to work. The reason I chose Good Day was because I'm always able to receive my items the following day. She said that I should have gotten everything back especially because all my clothes have red tickets tagged on them, which means priority. She let me leave with the rest of my uniform and told me to come back first thing in the morning. I received a phone call almost an hour later because she said she found my scarf. I had to go back the next morning right before work to pick it up. The owner was there and did not apologize for the inconvenience. I understand people make mistakes, and acknowledging them is one step closer to resolving the issue. He tried to charge me for the scarf as well. It's not the the amount of money, it's the PRINCIPAL he should understand. He deducted the $4 from my bill after I explained why I should not have to pay for it, but I will never return.
