  • Oh how I really love Rudy's. I've been to one in Austin, and been to the Chandler one probably 10 times. My go to place on the way to Tucson. I love the fact that they consistently have good BBQ at any time of the day. Yes are there better BBQ places in Phx, and most recently I've fallen in love with Little Miss BBQ, but you can't always get food there, ie they run out quick and long lines. Rudy's is always good food at good prices all the time. As with the Chandler location when it was new lines at Rudy's were very long. After the hoopla is done, the lines died down. I've heard the lines can be long here at the Goodyear location, but we came at 9pm on a Tuesday and were served right away. Their moist brisket was excellent and we ordered turkey. We also tried the banana pudding. Great at well. Overall this is a perfect addition to Phoenix. I wish they would open one up on I 17 so I can get my BBQ on in all directions leaving and coming back from a road trip. Also, their original BBQ sauce is the best ever. I always buy a bottle when I come and use it on my BBQ and other food at home. You really can't beat it! Again, you can't go wrong with great food at Rudy's.
