  • My pool pump motor died, and my regular pool guy quoted upwards of $300 for the beginning number of his estimate. I've had previous good luck with One Stop Pool Shop so on a whim i stopped by with some pictures of my broken pump. The staff there are a bit gruff, but ultimately principled business owners and great people to work with. They recommended both a new pump and refurbished pump as options for me - and were kind enough to test out the old pump i brought. They checked the capacitor and bearings to ensure i really needed a new motor. Long story short in two hours the new motor and my pump impellers, etc were married, tested and lubricated. Working great so far, give them a try.
