  • Walking through the mall with a niece from out of town whom had a credit card burning a hole in her wallet, I mentioned this place and she responded "What's a Holt Renfrew". She's from Windsor and had never heard the name before, so I explained their Cdn flagship store on Bloor. Once she heard the word designer, she excitedly headed into shop. Now called Holt Renfrew 2, I found it to be very organized and clean, despite it being the Saturday before Mothers Day. We didn't interact with any staff, as none approached us, but the ones I did see were either tidying up clothes racks or helping other shoppers. After spending a couple minutes in the store, she turned to me and exclaimed "Wow, their stuff is pricey". That didn't seem to deter her though as she looked through racks of clothes before turning her eyes on the purse section. Thankfully for her (and her credit card), she didn't seem to find anything she liked, so onwards we trekked. Bright store, clean, organized albeit pricey, I think she could have spent more time in there, but it was close to 8:30pm and we had to hit other stores still. As Arnold Scwartzenager says " She'll be back".
