| - Summary: Food was tasty, but very small portions. Service was quick, but not particularly friendly. Patio was nice, but inside was way too dark. Poor value overall.
Four of us went for dinner, me, my wife, our 17 year old and our 8 year old. The paella looked appealing (although I'm was a little hesitant when I saw Quinoa in place of yellow rice - and I was right). I asked if it was enough for two to share. The waitress said it would be. It wasn't. The portion was clearly for only one person. My son ordered the shrimp tacos. They came three to an order, but were incredibly small. Smaller than standard street tacos. We asked for a single taco for my 8 year old, and it took three requests before they would make her a pork taco.
The bright spot was the spicy hummus appetizer made with jalapeno for a nice bite. It was very fresh served with pita and thick cut chunks of cucumber.
Also: Definitely not a place for kids. They were not accomodating regarding the menu, and the atmosphere was not for little ones. They did apparently have a special liking for dogs as the patio was full of dogs.
The drink menu looked good. We both had beer, so we didn't sample the sangria, which is apparently their specialty.
Overall, I was not impressed. I don't think I would return, but if I did, I would stick with the appetizers (tapas) and sample more from the bar.
