I went to this cat cafe with my friends this weekend and thought it was great! This was my first time at a cat cafe, but if others are like this, I would love to make attendance a semi- regular habit. The cafe had a wide selection of drinks. I ordered a Turtle Latte and it was good. They also have some food options. Drinks can be taken into the back room with the cats. The cat lounge costs $5 to enter but it is definitely worth it. They had 17 cats there when we went, but the great aspect is it didn't smell that way! There was no odor like you would find in most shelters. There were several comfortable couches and tables. They have a lot of helpful information on the walls with regards to how to handle cats and read their body language for those who have less experience interacting with cats. They had several games to play, so my friends and I picked some appropriately cat-themed games to play (Rat-a-tat-cat and Catan).
From an animal lover's standpoint, this place is an amazing interim home for cats awaiting adoption. All of the cats are available to be adopted for anyone that falls in love. The employees were very knowledgeable about the process and the cats. I love that they take in special needs cats as well. Most of the cats were napping while we were there, but a few rambunctious kitties were running around entertaining everyone. It was a great experience and I encourage any cat-lover to check this place out!
