| - My friends say they like Cricket... I couldn't ever get it to work for me and even worse, they took my money for service I didn't get and a phone I sent back, in the box, unused.
~Never trust a phone company with their only CS call center in Malaysia!

My Cricket Customer Service story:
I ordered a Cricket phone and service on the net. I tried to get the service to work, but their customer service department is only available by phone once you are a customer.
The Cricket CS department is located in Malaysia. They were supposed to have sent a port request to my other carrier, but my carrier said they never got it. I confirmed with my carrier that my number was portable, and would be transferable to Cricket service. My carrier explained on the phone and in writing on separate occasions that Cricket simply never sent the porting request. Cricket said they did send the request and my carrier lied.
I spent 3 days on the phone w/ customer service in Malaysia, when I was totally fed up with being transferred from department to department. Since it was impossible to sort out, I tried to send the phone back and get a refund at the store.
The local cricket store is not a corporate store, so they couldn't do this for me. Instead they sat on the phone with CS and got a returns address for me to mail the phone to [Cricket Return; Plainfield Return Center; 2675 Reeves Road, Suite 191; Plainfield, Indiana 46168]. When they got through to the right agent they handed me the phone, the agent described, how I need to fax in my bank statement [using this number (720) 374-9125] to get a refund within 24 hours.
So I returned my phone to the address and faxed them the bank statement. That was 3 weeks ago. Still no refund.
I got this e-mail address [cricket@service-now.com] from a message they sent me, so I replied asking where my refund was over a week ago, but they still haven't replied.
