| - I really like the atmosphere of the store. The layout is great, restrooms are clean, they have coffee and water at no cost, and they also have a childcare area. I like the furniture offerings they have, and they do have a Lotta great prices. I have never bought anything here so we cannot vouch for that experience.
The reason for my three star review:
I went to the store with my 4 1/2-year-old boy and my mom met us there. I was looking for a new kitchen table. Anyone with a child knows it's easier to shop without them by your side. You're able to concentrate on what it is that you want to purchase, especially when making a big purchase like furniture. There was no one in the childcare area so, as the sign instructed, we went to the cashiers desk to find someone for childcare. We were completely ignored. We stood and waited for 23 minutes for someone to help us and no one even acknowledged that we were standing there. During that time I sought out three different workers asking for help and none of them got back with me.
I think it's quite amazing that they offer childcare and I am grateful for that, however, if you're going to offer the service, then have it available! To be completely ignored is just not OK.
So my mom and I walked the store with my son, I found a table that I really liked, but did not make the purchase because I was just disappointed with the lack of customer service. So now I will go online and find the same or a similar table and purchase it elsewhere. I won't spend that kind of money in the store where the workers don't even say, "We will be with you shortly."
