  • I came here after a frantic search up and down the Yonge strip for a spray on tan place. My usual (Glow, Mystic tan) had a broken machine, and I needed the tan today. They were really friendly, and gave up their smoke break in the front to deal me. They didn't have mystic tan, but california tan, which is a different system. I didn't like it to be honest maybe because was my first time using it, but I still would go back to a mystic tan. The people at Bellair as SO pretty. They were friendly and gave me a newbie intro to the new tanning system. I'm paranoid by nature, so I asked a lot of questions. I wasn't always satisfied with the "trust me" answer they kept giving me. for $40, i went into the California Tan room. Instead of spraying you in the front, with horizontal nozzles that move up and down, this is a tower which is the opposide (vertical nozzles that move side to side). I don't know if the spray technology is different, but the later results show that it didn't seem to stay as long. It was also different because you cannot towel dry, and any drips and streaks have to be air dried by the provided tower. there was no colour to the spray, so you have go by what feels wet. I did end up with streaks on my legs and dark brown feet. With mystic tan, I felt that it stayed longer and I had a more even spray. The result afterwards was not as dark as I had hoped. I noticed that the staff at Bellair never asked me the intensity, but said I was 2 based on my height. When I looked up their youyube.com info, that wasn't mentioned, and that the level meant what colour you'd get. Regardless, i found that the tan did not develop like I wanted and I actually sprayed more on my own later. I'd still go back to Mystic Tan. Glow has a half off coupon which makes the tan $15 instead of $30. I can't speak for the beds. Belliar Tan staff and atmopshere: 3 California Spray on Tan: 1.5
