We had dinner here with family recently; the food and ambiance were excellent. The dishes were on the saltier side, but we tend to find that is the case whenever we eat out. After an appetizer and main meal, we were really full, but since the pastry chef had just won an award for best pastry chef, we couldn't leave without trying a few desserts. We had the châtaignes et courges and a poire et sirop d`erable dessert. They were a wonderful way to finish the evening.
Everyone compliments the restaurant for the service, and we definitely had more than five people waiting on us all night, but it really only added to the confusion. We also had a waiter who was so shy we couldn't hear him at all. Whatever he brought us tasted delicious, we just weren't sure what was in it! Overall, it was still a lovely evening and if you have the chance to enjoy a meal at Maison Boulud, you will surely enjoy it.
