We were looking for a fun pre-dinner family activity and we found it here. Not inexpensive, but a nice way to spend an hour. There is a coat check at the front desk and off you go down a cool lighted hallway to get in queue before you begin. This is a smart way to stagger people and it worked since it never felt crowded. Once in the door, you stand to watch a seasons movie. It has nothing to do with wax, celebrities or the Museuem, just another stagger technique, but it was visually pretty. Then, the doors open and you're greeted by two wax figures that are beautiful. You wind your way through the displays and they are quite good. As an American, I appreciated the tags and pictures of the Canadians in wax form. There are props all over that you can use to take pictures with the figures. This was a great place for the kids and we learned about Canadian history too. I'm not sure how often they change exhibits, but it made for a fun time.
