When I heard about Fizz and saw it was an adorable champagne lounge I was sold! So, we went to dinner and then to Fizz to start my birthday weekend.. We had gotten a table and arrived at around 1030 on a Friday night... It was not very busy, but it seemed to have a nice ambience... They first seated us at this very secluded half couch right next to the service entrance... It was very much by itself as compared to the other tables... Mind you there was one table in the middle of the place that was unoccupied but they didn't put us at that table... Also, there was no legitimate table at this little couch we were at instead like two very small night stand tables... They were so small that they could barely fit the two bottles with the mixers, ice buckets and glasses...
We promptly asked for a different table and they proceeded to tell us that they had one booked and if the reservation holders did not show up they'd move our table... About 20 minutes later they moved us to an actual booth with a real table..
The waitress we had was very nice and she was very attentive... Absolutely, our waitress was the main redeeming quality of this lounge.. We had asked if she could get he DJ to play a different genre of music.. (Mind you there were not many people in the place) so, she was a doll and asked.. The music definitely started to liven up and the crowds came in small waves.. Towards the end of the night we were one of only maybe 2 tables in the place and everyone else was standing or at the bar.. So, my sister went to the DJ to ask if he would play a specific song.. She was followed up to the DJ booth by who we believed to be the "VIP coordinator" and he proceeded to very rudely say to my sister "this is not a bar mitzvah you can't go up and request songs" and she looked around and pointed out to him that there were not may people in the place AND we were one of only 2 occupied paid tables in the entire lounge.. He was just incredibly rude..
As compared to the other bars and lounges where we have gotten bottle service... This was probably one of the most unimpressive experiences.
