| - Since I'm a visitor to Arizona, I always ask my sister in law for recommendations to awesome finds. So when I asked her for a quaint eatery, she recommended the coffee shop for it's food, coffee, and atmosphere.
Upon arrival, I was very impressed with it's greenery and ambiance. Their pastry display, variety of lattes, frozen drinks, and meals were very impressive. I decided upon their pumpkin spice latte (I know it's August but it's my favorite flavor) with a chocolate chip coffee cake as a starter; both were equally impressive. When my friend arrived, we ordered breakfast: I ordered the San Dieagan (open face omelette) and she ordered a chorizo burrito (I think it's meant for two people or someone with a big appetite). We both concluded that this was a great find. Their prices were reasonable, location was great (I loved the drive from Mesa to Gilbert), and I'm absolutely looking forward to another visit when I'm back in town.
P. S. If you go on the weekends, go early and save a table. We noticed groups came in waves and dominated areas of the shop. Although the atmosphere shifted slightly from chill to kinda hectic, the staff remained upbeat and hospitable.
