I'm not organic or vegan but I do appreciate the ability to get things you can't find on other stores. I enjoy Whole Foods just for the shopping experience. I appreciate being able to get things I can't find elsewhere like Morel Mushrooms when they are in season, Fiddleneck Ferns, Fresh Opah... and the black forrest bacon is the best!
The prices have earned them the name "Whole Paycheck" so I have found other sources for many things but if I can only find it at Whole Foods... then that's all I can do.
In all the years I've shopped here I've only had one time where staff were jerks (3 huddled in the back yacking when I needed to ask a question) Most of the time the staff is very knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to help.
I wish I could give a shout out to the person on Charleston who used to be a greeter at the door but I can't remember her name. I used to go just because she has such positive energy it rubbed off. She's now behind one of the counters with prepared food... and that great energy still rubs off! (I just don't buy anything in that section)
I really appreciate the free ice to keep things cool on the way home.
