  • This place is bloody evil, in a good way of course. I lived directly across the street from it for nearly 3 years, I could see the sign from my living room window. This, combined with Tutti Fruitti's late night hours of operation, resulted in many midnight saunters across the road for a sugar fix. I'm not sure why it is open so late, perhaps to entice local Annex potheads in need of late night munchies. While I pride myself on being a healthy eater, sweets are my one weakness. The thing I love about Tutti Fruitti is I can go in and select a nice variety of candy and chocolate, most items costing $1.29 per 100 grams. The owner is more than happy to see me every time I stroll in, greeting me with a smile, even though I usually buy a handful of candy which usually totals 0.87 cents! They also have imported UK treats (fruit pastilles, YES!) and most of the US brands of chocolate bars that you can't find here. Lots of toys, PEZ and novelty items as well. I still visit often, despite moving half a mile or so down the road :)
