  • Beware of the Tiger! My icemaker in my refrigerator needed to be replaced. When I requested the service call I gave the model number of my Kenmore refrigerator and Barb said she could hear the familiar grinding noise when I held the phone close. Total cost $323 for a part I can purchase from a store within 5 miles for $95, retail. Without the wholesale discount Tiger gets, there is a difference of at least $228 for a job that took less than one hour to complete.
