| - I wish I could give this place a 3.5 star review. Upon first glance this is a great place to see a movie. Everything is new and clean, the snack bar has some pretty good options, it is generally well located. After a few trips to this theatre though, you start to notice the problems. Parking is a TERROR starting at dinner time and straight on through to about 10 PM. The theatres are actually all fairly small and almost always packed.. 95% of seats are uncomfortably close to the screen. The only place I can sit is the back row. Fellow patrons are idiots who constantly check cell phones, talk, etc. The movie selection here is always a bit lacking. A lot of their screens are doubles taken up by 3D and regular versions of the same (usually awful, hence 3D) movies. I know that the movie industry in general is lacking but I know there are good indie flicks out there. I wish this theatre would be willing to play more independent films. They did show The Descendants for a while, but let's be honest, the only reason that movie got play time was because it was an Oscar winner starring George Clooney. The prices are competitive with other theatres in the area and frankly, if you can catch an 11 AM show, this is a fantastic place to see a movie. Anything after 2 and you are fighting for parking, fighting for a seat, fighting cell phone screen blindness caused by your idiot hooked into the matrix neighbors. The cell phone screens are my biggest movie pet peeve because it DOES disturb everyone else around you, especially now that screens are so much brighter. Theatre staff does not enforce their claim that they will kick out anyone who is using their phone during the movie. I will say that this is a nice place for a kids movie. I take my 3 year old nephew every couple of months and he really likes it here.
